Terms of Service

Effective July 8, 2026 · Telos is operated by Prodigy Industries, Inc.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Prodigy Industries, Inc.(“Prodigy Industries,” “we,” “us”), the operator of the Telos website, courses, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy, and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service. You are responsible for your account: keep your credentials confidential, keep your account information accurate, and tell us promptly at the email below if you suspect unauthorized access. One account per person; accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.

2. The products

The Service offers a four-course life-coaching suite — Body, Mind, Direction, and Self — each concluding in a certification, through two products:

  • Free Trial— ten modules of ONE course of your choice, unlocked with your account email and your consent to receive promotional communications (see the Privacy Policy). You may change which course your trial applies to as long as you have opened three (3) or fewer modules of your current selection; after that the selection is fixed unless you purchase the Full Suite. “Opened” means a module’s lesson page has been viewed in your account. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time without losing access already granted.
  • Full Suite — every module of all four courses (240+ as courses roll out; new modules are included as they ship) plus all four certifications, purchased for a one-time fee. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Certifications are certificates of course completion issued by Telos. They become available (including as a downloadable PDF) only when every module of the respective course is complete. They are personal recognitions of completed coursework, not accredited professional or academic credentials.

“Lifetime access”means access for as long as we operate the Telos platform, for the life of the product. If we ever discontinue the platform, we will give purchasers at least 90 days’ notice and a reasonable means to export or retain their own saved work.

3. Payments, taxes & refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and may change at any time, but a change never affects a purchase you have already completed. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase where required by law. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

4. License to the course content

When you purchase or unlock a course, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the course content for your own personal, non-commercial development. All content — modules, text, worksheets, audio narration, visuals, software, and the Telos brand — is owned by Prodigy Industries or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may not:

  • copy, share, resell, sublicense, or publicly post course content;
  • share account access so others can consume content you unlocked;
  • use the content to build a competing course, or use automated tools to scrape, download, or extract it;
  • remove or alter any proprietary notices.

Printing or saving your own Assessment and your own worksheet answers for personal use is, of course, allowed — that work is yours (see Section 6).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights while using the Service;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • submit malicious code, spam, or content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Where the violation is material (for example, redistributing paid content), termination may be without refund.

6. Your content

You own the answers, reflections, and other material you write into the Service (“Member Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display Member Content back to you — that is what makes worksheets, progress, and your Assessment work. We do not publish your Member Content, use it in marketing, or train machine-learning models on it. You are responsible for what you write; do not submit content you do not have the right to use.

7. AI-assisted features

Some features — most notably “The Signal” interactive reading — generate questions and summaries automatically, using either rule-based software or artificial-intelligence models. AI-generated output can be imperfect, incomplete, or wrong. It is provided for reflection and education only and is not advice (see Section 8 and the Disclaimer). Crisis-related language in The Signal triggers a supportive resources screen instead of a report; the Service is not a crisis service.

8. Not professional advice

Telos provides educational and self-development content. It is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and no coach-client, therapist-patient, or fiduciary relationship is created by your use of the Service. Decisions you make — including career and financial decisions — are yours alone. See the Disclaimer for the full statement, including crisis resources.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME — PERSONAL, PROFESSIONAL, OR FINANCIAL — WILL RESULT FROM USING IT.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (a) WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL; AND (b) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold Prodigy Industries harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of your Member Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of the law.

12. Disputes, arbitration & class waiver

Please read this section carefully — it affects your rights.

Most concerns can be resolved quickly and informally: email us first and we will try in good faith to work it out within 30 days. If we cannot, you and Prodigy Industries agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court — except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property misuse.

  • Class waiver: disputes will be arbitrated only on an individual basis; class actions and class arbitrations are waived to the extent permitted by law.
  • Opt-out: you may opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name, account email, and intent to opt out.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Any proceeding not subject to arbitration will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, and will notify you at your account email where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 4, 6, and 9–12) survive.

14. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We improve the Service continuously; features may change over time, provided the substance of what you purchased is not materially reduced. We may amend these Terms; if a change is material, we will give notice (for example, by email or an in-product notice) at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The “Effective” date above always reflects the current version.

15. Miscellany

These Terms (with the policies they incorporate) are the entire agreement between you and Prodigy Industries about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
